The Girl Behind the Camera.

Hii! My name is Saydie Cochran. I am a couples photographer based in Austin, TX, but I’m willing to go anywhere in the USA that the Lord takes me. Some of my favorite places to travel are Utah and Colorado—I love a good outdoor adventure shoot! I will gladly hike up a snow-covered mountain for you!

I’m 23 years old and graduated from Texas A&M in 2024. Just a month after graduation, I married the love of my life, David. He is the reason I’m even able to pursue my photography dreams, so thank you, Lord, for David!

I’ve always been a bit of a romantic—drawn to the kinds of stories that make your heart ache in the best way. In my childhood, I loved flipping through the family and baby photo albums my mom made over the years—along with the home videos she recorded on old VHS tapes. Something about them just made me full of joy. I’d get lost in the memories, watching the little stories unfold that led up to each moment. That has stuck with me ever since.

Now, I get the honor of capturing that kind of love. The honest, breathtakingly real kind. The sweet little glances, the shared laughter, the quiet in-between moments that often go unnoticed—but end up meaning the most. To me, photography is an act of worship. I believe God reveals Himself in the beauty of connection, and I aim to document love the way He created it to be: intentional, sacred, and beautiful.

My approach is relaxed, story-driven, and rooted in emotion. I won’t overly pose you or ask for forced smiles. Instead, I’ll come alongside you like a third wheel on your dreamiest date—gently prompting you while letting the magic unfold naturally. I want your session to feel like an experience, not just a photoshoot. And when you look back on your images years from now, I want you to remember exactly how it all felt.

Because in the end, it’s not just about capturing how your love looks.
It’s about preserving the story God is writing through it.

Here to capture your love with a servant-heart.

A Few of My Favorite Things!

  • Big coffee drinker…trying to force my tastebuds to drink black. We’ll get there soon enough.

  • BOOKS! I used to dread reading—especially in high school and college—because I hated being forced to read. But when I find a good Christian or historical fiction/non-fiction book, I can’t put it down!

  • The mountains. I never get tired of them. Any season…give me the mountains!

My & My Husband

  • Snowboarding—I live in Texas, but I will take any opportunity to put my snowboard to work!

  • Movie nights :) Nothing like a cozy night in and watching a good movie with family.

  • National Parks! I love exploring God’s creation

  • Faith-filled conversations…I value meaningful conversations about faith. Just fills my spirit up with so much joy! (Please talk about Jesus with me)

Anything in common? Tell me about it. I’d love to connect with you!
